Application For Financial Assistance


Requests for activity support must be submitted no later than October 15 for events planned in the following year.

Funding is not guaranteed for applications received after October 15, and these will be reviewed on a case-by-case basis.

All requests will be reviewed by a committee composed of municipal council members and representatives from the Department of Recreation, Tourism, Culture, and Community Life. The committee bases its recommendations on the established evaluation criteria while also taking into account the Town of Brome Lake’s financial resources.

The committee submits its recommendations to the Municipal Council for decision and final approval. The Council’s decision may differ from the amount requested.

For applications received before October 15, the decision regarding the support granted will be communicated to the applicant following the Municipal Council meeting, no later than February.
