Revision of the Urban Plan

The Town of Brome Lake has implemented a series of measures as part of the review of its Urban plan, last updated in 2013. This process is part of a collective reflection on the future of our community, with the aim of highlighting its distinctive qualities and guiding its evolution in a coherent and sustainable manner.

Brome Lake enjoys an exceptional living environment, a rich heritage, remarkable natural landscapes, and a dynamic community life. The revision of the urban plan is an opportunity to strengthen these assets while responding to emerging needs in terms of housing, mobility, commercial vitality, and protection of sensitive environments.

This process will enable better planning of local projects, support harmonious growth, and preserve Brome Lake's identity. It is also part of a regional dynamic, as the MRC Brome-Missisquoi revises its development plan to incorporate new government guidelines on land use planning.

The Town hopes to mobilize its community around a shared vision that is promising and respectful of its unique character.
